When I was young, holy cards were more than pictures – they were a treasure. I still vividly remember my teacher’s desk and the large blotting pad she used to protect the wood desktop from fountain pen spills.
Whenever we learned a new prayer, like the Our Father, she would lift it to reveal a hidden gallery of cards. I can still remember the excitement of seeing what was tucked underneath—images of Jesus, the Blessed Mother, or a patron saint.
To keep them safe, I stored them inside a special box or the pages of my favourite prayer books. The photo here shows the very cards I have carried for decades and still treasure today.

While our specialized “soft-touch” matte coating provides excellent durability and resistance to fingerprints, the cards are made of 16pt cardstock and are not fully waterproof. They are best kept in a wallet, book, or phone case.
