PayPal Tips for Beginners
PayPal is safe and protected by advanced data encryption. You can pay with a credit card without signing up for a PayPal account. Keep reading to learn how.
First, we will prepare an invoice on the PayPal website. Then, they will send you an email with the subject line: You’ve got a money request. They will mention the amount owing with a note explaining your purchase. There will be a transaction ID and date.
You can click on the navy blue button that says Pay Now.
Pay with a Credit Card as a Guest
The email link will take you to a page where you can log in or proceed as a guest.
In the image, the grey button at the bottom says Pay as a Guest. Click on it.
Fill in Payment Information
The next step is to fill in the usual information to pay with a credit card. Double-check for accuracy.
Do not click on anything yet.
Default
At the bottom of the section is a checked button that encourages you to create a PayPal account.
UN-CHECK IT by clicking on the blue checkmark. Keep reading to see what it should look like once unchecked.

Next, click to confirm that you agree with PayPal’s privacy statement. It’s the blue box with the white checkmark.
Click on the navy blue button that says Continue.
Finalize the Payment
You will arrive at the payment confirmation page. Once you have double-checked your information, you can click on the blue button that says,
Agree and Send Money
PayPal will confirm that you have made a payment. They will encourage you to set up a PayPal account.
You can close the page. Don’t fill in the information or click on anything.
Email Confirmation
About 5 minutes later, you will receive an email from service@intl.paypal.com with the subject line, You sent a payment.
You can ignore the suggestion to set up a PayPal account.

EMAIL: We will send you an invoice via PayPal to your email. Click on Pay Now.
PROCEED AS GUEST: Choose the option with the light grey button that says Pay as a Guest.
DEFAULT BUTTON: Once you have filled in your information, you will get to your email address. Right below it, click on the button Create a PayPal account to skip this form and checkout faster next time. Once you click on it, it will uncheck the option.
FINAL STEPS: Confirm that you agree with their privacy statement. Click on the blue Continue button to complete the payment.
