About Prayer

What is Prayer?

Prayer is our connection with God.

When we pray, we put our needs in the hands of God. It is not demanding. We trust His divine will because He knows what our hearts need most.

We thank Him for our blessings and His help.

With our entire being, we praise Him.  He is our God.  He made us and we belong to Him.

How to "Pray from the Heart"

When we pray from the heart, we pay attention to the words of the prayers. That means not rushing. We can also add moments of silent reflection with an awareness of God’s presence. Prayer is about spending time with God.
