Discover four tips on how to care for your stretch rosary bracelet. It is a good idea, for example, to wear it on your non-dominant wrist.

4 Tips to Care for your Stretch Rosary Bracelet

1

Choose the Best Way to Put It On

We took a photo of the best way to put on a stretch rosary bracelet. Point your fingers and then wrap your other hand around it like a letter C. Then gently roll the bracelet over your hand. Think of it as sliding it on so the elastic material can accommodate your hand and wrist as you put it on. That way, it will not over-stretch.

2

Avoid Chemicals

We suggest that you take off your bracelet before washing dishes or swimming. That way, you can avoid the chemicals in dishwashing soap and chlorine.

3

Choose the Right Size

The bracelet should be the best size for your wrist and hand. The beads should sit next to your wrist without hanging loose. A bracelet should not be so tight that the beads leave indents on your skin. If any elastic is showing, then it is too snug. The easiest way to find your wrist size is with a soft measuring tape at the wrist bone.

4

Wear It On Your Opposite Wrist

Your bracelet can get caught on something. When you wear it on the one you use less often, it is less likely to happen.  So if you’re right-handed, you can get used to wearing it on your left wrist.

Quality Construction

In general, stretch bracelets will not last as long as other designs.  We make them as sturdy as possible.

It's All About the Cord

Our bracelets are strung on a heavier weight of cord than most commercial bracelets.  It passes an 8-pound endurance test.  We do not use floss elastic which tends to fray.   Our latex-free stretch cord retains its original shape after gently stretching.

The Technique Matters

We use every precaution to ensure a well-built rosary bracelet.  We use techniques like pre-stretching and specialty knotting to help protect it.
