Biblical Origins
The Book of Exodus describes the breastplate worn by Aaron. (Exodus 28: 15-21). Moses designed it with twelve different stones, one for each of the tribes of Israel. Historians connected the idea with the months of the year. Wearing birthstones soon became trendy.
Birthstone Colours
In 1912, the National Association of Jewelers modified the list of birthstones to include transparent ones. That way, mothers’ rings were easier to design. After that, there was more than one stone for each month. For example, June is Alexandrite or Pearl.

We can create a unique rosary with bead colours to represent your loved ones. As our hands move across the beads, you can include them in your prayers.
You can choose the Crucifix and center medal set and the size of the Our Father beads. We have printouts to make planning easier.

Birthstone Colours
We selected fire-polished glass beads made in the Czech Republic for birthstone colours to represent the months. Digital images, however, will differ slightly from the original beads, depending on your monitor.
