The Beads of the Sacred Heart are an approved Catholic devotion. The 33 grouped beads represent the years of our Lord’s life on Earth.
We chose Czech glass, heart-shaped beads to symbolize the love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The single beads are wire-wrapped and capped, and easily felt as you pray, making it easier to keep your place and focus on the prayers.
About the Chaplet: Father John Croiset, S.J., author of Devotion to the Sacred Heart (originally published in 1691) composed the chaplet. He based the prayers on the approved devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus as revealed to St. Mary Alacoque, for whom he served as spiritual director. In 1899, Pope Leo XIII dedicated the entire Church to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The chaplet received the Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur in 1959.

Suggestion
It is a good idea to store your chaplets and prayer cards together. Since chaplets have unique bead groupings and prayers, the prayer card and chaplet need to stay together so that you can continue to use them.
