Our Euro Wood Sacrifice beads slide and stay in place. The chaplet fits easily into a pocket or purse to keep track of good deeds or sacrifices during the day. Since we made it to double as a rosary decade, the Our Father bead is not slidable.
About St. Therese's Sacrifice Beads
As a child, St. Therese made a strand of 30 sacrifice beads to keep track of her little gifts to God during the day. She carried it in her pocket and would slide the beads toward the Crucifix with each little act of love. Each evening, she would offer them to God. Then, she would slide the beads back up, ready for the next day. The best sacrifices are those done with a loving heart.

How She Offered Her Sacrifices
St. Therese recorded the number of acts of love in her journal. She wrote, “Jesus, I love you.” beside the totals for the day. In the months leading up to her First Communion, she recorded an average of 28 sacrifices daily. She continued this practice for the rest of her life.
