More Details
Our Gold & Red Sacred Heart Rosary has classic links and brass metal components. It is such a rich shade of red that it looks black in photos. The reflective coating adds a shimmer of yellow and aqua to the rosary. The beads are larger than the ones we use for most of our classic rosary designs.
TIP
You can keep a small cloth (like the ones for cleaning eyeglasses) in the pouch with your rosary. That way, you can give it a quick buff from time to time. Or try storing it with a silica gel pack, chalk, or anti-tarnish paper.

There are 3 ways to compare the types of rosaries: number of beads, prayers, and materials.
How Many Beads?
A full Rosary has 5 decades and 59 beads, a 20-decade rosary has 225 beads, and a pocket or car rosary has 11 beads. There are also wall rosaries, rosary bracelets, rosary necklaces, and more.
Chaplets
Some sets of beads, like The Seven Sorrows Rosary, are actually chaplets. The prayers differ from that of a rosary and sometimes the bead layouts are also different.
Materials
Rosaries are made with different materials and construction. Some are strung on a cord with wood beads. Others have classic looped links to hold the beads in place. Wire-wrapped rosaries have stacks of looped rings on each side of the beads.
