Our Holy Family Hematite Rosary is wire-wrapped. It takes less space in the palm of your hand, yet it is easier to handle. The beads are secured and will not come unhooked. The wraps also add extra space for your fingers. As a result, it is more comfortable for prayer. When a rosary fits well in your hands, it is easier to enter deep into prayer.
What is Hematite?
Today’s hematite rosaries use a machine-made version of the stone. It looks and feels similar. It is also iron-grey, metallic-based, and heavy.
Tip
TIP: Wire-wrapped rosaries will not come unhooked. The design will sometimes result in a temporary kink. There are two ways to resolve it: a gentle shake; or lifting and turning the section by hand.
