The rosary has slightly larger Our Father beads, which make them easier to notice during prayer. There is also ample space for the Hail Mary beads to slide as you pray.

Each rosary features authentic olive wood sourced directly from small family workshops in Bethlehem, where local artisans shape pruned branches from local trees, using traditional hand chisels and lathes. Because these pieces are individually turned rather than factory-produced, no two beads are alike.

Distinct Markings

You will notice a fascinating mix of appearances among the beads, which varies entirely depending on the specific part of the tree branch they were cut from:

The Heartwood Beads: Sourced from the older, inner core of the branch, these feature the dramatic, highly sought-after swirling grain patterns with rich contrasts of blonds, golds, and deep brown streaks.
The Sapwood Beads: Sourced from the younger, outer layer of the wood just beneath the bark, these have a smooth, pale cream or yellowish appearance with little to no visible grain markings.

The blending of these distinct markings or plain appearance gives the rosary its unique, organic character.
