More Details

We can custom-make a decade marker to match your rosary.

Praying a rosary can seem daunting when life gets busy. A decade marker or place holder can keep track of where you left off. It will clip onto the wire or chain, and then you can move it as needed. The Crucifix loop will keep it handy between uses.

To see which direction you have been praying, make sure that the rosary center is facing you. It will not work with a center that looks the same on both sides.

Another use is to attach them to zipper pulls on purses or backpacks for fun.

Handmade Catholic items by Our Lady of Grace Rosaries are designed to be cherished and built to endure.

5 Tips to Get the Most Out of Praying the Rosary

1

Be Prepared

First, choose a time and place that works best for you. Then ask the Holy Spirit to help you pray well.

2

Commit to Pray

Plan your day around it. Stick with it. Praying consistently helps us develop a routine of prayer.

3

Manage Distractions

Our minds can wander during prayer.  When that happens, we can refocus our attention.  If this is difficult, we can pray for grace to help us stay focused.

4

The Mysteries

Make an effort to focus on each one as you pray. For example, the third Luminous Mystery is The Proclamation of the Kingdom. You can imagine yourself sitting nearby, listening to Jesus speaking. Hear the birds, feel the warmth of the sun, and notice things around you. As we spend time with Jesus this way, it can help us grow closer to Him.

5

Don't Rush

When there is enough time to think about the mysteries as we pray, it can be a more peaceful experience. Time for reflection in prayer is what makes it more meaningful.

EXTRA TIP

The rosary is a biblical prayer that helps us grow closer to God. We ask His mother, the one who loves Him the most, to pray with us and for us.
