St. Joseph Litany
Although the St. Joseph Litany can be prayed by individuals, we set it up in a group format. When praying in a group, the leader says the first part. Everyone else says the refrain, which is written in capital letters.
Pope Pius X approved the litany on March 18, 1909.

TO BE THE SPOUSE OF YOUR MOST HOLY MOTHER;
GRANT, WE BESEECH YOU, THAT WE MAY BE WORTHY
TO HAVE HIM FOR OUR INTERCESSOR IN HEAVEN,
WHOM ON EARTH WE VENERATE AS OUR PROTECTOR;
