More Details

The Jesus Prayer (Chaplet) has 100 knots and a San Damiano Crucifix.  This ancient devotion dates back to the 7th Century. In Russia, it is a Chotki. The repeated prayer is an adaptation of the humble prayer of the publican in Luke 18: 13-14. There are extra prayers, but we pray this one 100 times,

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner

It is a profound yet simple prayer that helps us open our hearts to our Lord’s presence and ask for His mercy. It is a prayer of humility and repentance.

I received the Chakoti yesterday, and it is gorgeous! The prayer rope is a rich brown colour; and the Crucifix looks magnificent, with the icing on the cake being the Latin prayer of Assisi. Just a gem of a prayer tool. Thank you so much for making this beautiful chaplet. -SD

About Our Handmade Chaplets

Packaging

Each chaplet comes with a sturdy prayer card.  It explains which prayers to say on which beads.

Suggestion

It is a good idea to store your chaplets and prayer cards together.  Since chaplets have unique bead groupings and prayers, the prayer card and chaplet need to stay together so that you can continue to use them.
