The Chaplet of the Two Hearts has red and clear Czech glass hearts. The medal has the Sacred Heart of Jesus on one side and the Immaculate Heart of Mary on the other. This mid-20th-Century devotion is easy to pray. It is a prayer of love and reparation. We can also pray for a particular request. The chaplet card includes a prayer for family consecration to the Two Hearts.
The Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is 19 days (Friday) after Pentecost. The Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary is the following day (Saturday). St. John Eudes (1599-1680) promoted both devotions.
