“Navigation” (finding your way around the website) is easier with a few helpful features. They can look different from one website to another. Below is a quick guide to our website navigation tools.
Finding What You Need with our Search Bar
A quick way to find something on our website is to use the search bar, located near the top of the page. It looks like a long rectangular box that says “Search…” with a magnifying glass attached to the right side. Simply click on the box and type in a single keyword—like a specific material or topic—rather than a long sentence. All the relevant pages will instantly appear, and you can click on any of them to look around at what you need.
When you have been looking at a long page and want to return to the top, we built a convenient shortcut just for you. Look for a small, floating, round, semi-clear bubble with an arrow inside of it. It stays tucked away in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen as you scroll. Whenever you tap on it, it will quickly and gently scroll your view right back up to the very top of the page.

Exploring Our Menus and Links
To keep things simple, our short clickable menus are located at the very top of the page (the header), and a fully organized list of menus is at the bottom (the footer). You will also see lots of short links throughout the website. These either look like distinct buttons or highlighted, underlined words. Sometimes, our pictures are links too! Of special note: if you ever want to find your way back to the main homepage, simply click on our LOGO (Our Lady of Grace) at the top left of the page to instantly find your way back.

CREDITS
The LOGO image of Our Lady of Grace is an original artwork by my son, Martin Lariviere (2009). We have the artist’s permission to use it as our exclusive trademark LOGO.
A beautifully photographed sky by Donald Tong inspired the website’s colour scheme. Cropped portions of it are the background for the footer Bible verse. He shared it as a free download on pexels.com.
Raphael painted The Sistine Madonna, circa 1513-1514. We made circular cut-outs from the original image.
These are our original photos and are intended for use only while visiting our website.
While our information is based on years of experience and shared resources, it is intended for educational purposes. We recommend using it as a springboard for your own research and fact-checking.
IN REVIEW
Is a Wire-wrapped rosary stronger than a traditional-linked rosary?
Yes. In a sturdy handmade rosary design, wire-wrapping is considered the gold standard for durability. Each bead is secured by wrapping the wire around the center stem, making it virtually impossible for the links to unhook. This method eliminates the “weak links” found in most machine-made prayer beads.
Can a sturdy rosary be used comfortably by people with large hands or arthritis?
Quality artisan design balances structural strength with ergonomics. By utilizing specific wire-wrapped spacing or larger beads, a sturdy rosary provides enough room for fingers to grasp each bead comfortably without straining. This thoughtful design ensures the prayer experience remains effortless and tactile, even for those with arthritis or larger hands who often find mass-produced, cramped rosaries difficult to use.
How long should I expect a handmade, artisan rosary to last?
When engineered correctly, a handmade rosary is built to be an enduring heirloom that lasts decades. By using quality materials and reinforced construction methods like the premium wire-wrapped design, artisans create pieces that have endurance for daily prayer, travel, and even the occasional pull from a child. Unlike mass-produced versions that may fail within a year or two, a sturdy, artisan-engineered rosary is designed to be a one-time investment that remains structurally sound for generations.
Why should I spend more money on a handmade rosary? Is it worth the investment?
Investing in an artisan-engineered sturdy rosary is a choice for longevity over disposability. While mass-produced rosaries are often designed as affordable keepsakes, a handmade version is built for lifelong use. Beyond the physical durability, you are investing in a unique piece of art designed to become a family heirloom that can be passed down for generations.
How can I protect my rosary when I am travellng or on the go?
Even the most sturdy rosary deserves proper care to maintain its finish and prevent tangling. A quality pouch protects your beautiful prayer beads from unnecessary friction in your pocket or bag, ensuring that they stay in pristine condition for a lifetime of daily use. You can protect your investment with a dedicated rosary pouch designed to keep your heirloom-quality beads secure on the go.
