In 1973, the Roe versus Wade court decision legalized abortion. In response, Archbishop Fulton Sheen wrote a prayer. As we say the prayer, we ask for the support of the Holy Family. Our prayers will support the child and the parents for the 9 1/2 months of gestation.
The Spiritual Adoption of an Unborn Child Prayer Card is .016 inches thick (or about .4mm). This sturdy card is in a convenient business card size.
We chose an image of Our Lady of Guadalupe because she is the Patroness of the Unborn. She appeared on the hill of Tepeyac in Mexico City (1531) as the Mother of the unborn Baby Jesus.
