What Are Austrian Crystals?

More Details
Our Teal Austrian Crystal Rosary has beads with a bicone cut. They are precision-cut to glisten in the light more than any other bead. You will find that the shape of the beads makes them slide easily between your fingers during prayer. We chose a larger size of Our Father beads for prayer comfort.
We paired the beads with sterling-silver-filled wire. The brass core has a thick Sterling Silver plating. We are happy with the quality. If you examine the cut ends, you will have difficulty finding any brass inside. The Crucifix and center are solid sterling silver. They are antiqued and cast from vintage pieces. The rosary is wire-wrapped and connected with bows.
*This is a limited edition item. We are out of these specific beads and Swarovski no longer sells them. New rosaries will have all 6mm beads in a similar colour.
TIP
Wire-wrapped rosaries will not come unhooked. The design will sometimes result in a temporary kink. There are two ways to resolve it: a gentle shake; or lifting and turning the section by hand.

What Makes Them Sparkle?
Swarovski Crystals glisten and catch the eye in the stores as we walk past them. Although their lighting helps, it takes very little light can make these beads throw off flashes of light.
The End of an Era
In 2021, they announced a major plan to restructure their company. Selling their beads to crafters have become a thing of the past. They no longer want their brand associated with anything less than the best quality.
Will There Be More of These Rosaries?
You can still look forward to more of our rosaries made with these beads. They will be available for as long as our supplies last. However, we will now be selling them under the name “Austrian Crystal” rosaries.
