STRETCH Rosary Bracelets
The convenient design.
Hold your hand in a pointed position, like in the photo. Using your free hand, slide the bracelet into place. You can feel the beads roll over your wrist. Think of it as sliding it on so the elastic material can accommodate your hand and wrist as you put it on. To take it off, follow the steps in reverse.
Your bracelet can get caught on something. When you wear it on the one you use less often, it is less likely to happen.
TIP: Removing your bracelet before washing dishes or swimming helps avoid the chemicals in dishwashing soap and chlorine.
MEMORY WIRE Bracelets
The versatile design.
Our memory wire bracelets are on a coil of heavy-duty wire that holds its shape better than most. However, they can get stretched.
After watching a YouTube video, I tried winding one around my wrist, a section at a time. The bracelet no longer fits as well.
We recommend holding your hand in a pointed position, like in the photo. You can feel the beads roll over your wrist as you put the bracelet on. You can take it off the same way.
TIP: Our heavy-duty memory wire is rustproof. However, saltwater, soaps, and similar products can get trapped inside the beads. Removing it before showering, swimming, or washing dishes will help it keep its original luster.
LOBSTER CLASP Bracelets
The popular design.
What I Discovered
I discovered this helpful tip in an old copy of Good Housekeeping magazine. In case you collect them, it was in the December 2013 issue on page 131.
You need only one item, a colour-coated paper clip. It is the most flexible. The plain metal ones broke when I tried to do the first step.
Prepare the Paperclip
- Unfold the paperclip into an S-shape.
- Hook one end of the bent paperclip onto the jump ring or bracelet loop. Hold the other end in your palm under your fingers.
This Part Takes a Little Practice
- Hold onto the clasp and guide the bracelet around the back of your hand.
- Finally, hook it onto the jump ring to attach the bracelet.
Follow the steps in reverse to remove your bracelet.
TIP: A Bracelet Fastening Tool comes with your lobster clasp rosary bracelet purchase. They are also free with any online purchase (on request). Click to learn more.
BUTTON CLASP Bracelets
The smooth design.
Button clasps look something like a trailer hitch with a ball on one end and a donut on the other.
Put the bracelet loosely around your wrist and hold it against yourself. Gently push the ball through the hole. You will notice that the clasp is now at the top and center of your wrist.
Slide the bracelet around so that the clasp is at the back of your hand where you will want to wear it.
To take off your bracelet, slide the clasp to the top of your wrist and hold the bracelet against yourself. Open the clasp.
TIP: You can flick open a closed button clasp with a fingernail.
SLIDING KNOT Bracelets
The trendy design.
Two Strands
Our sliding knot rosary bracelets adjust for a comfortable fit. You can make your bracelet larger or smaller by tugging on the ends.
- First, widen your bracelet and slide it over your hand. This will shorten the cord ends.
- The cord ends are the strands with knots or beads at the ends.
Method #1: for long cord ends
- Pull on one of the cord ends as far as it goes.
- Hold it in the palm of your hand with your fingers as shown in the photo.
- Pull on the other cord end to slide the knot in the opposite direction.
Method # 2
- Pull on one of the cord ends as you slide the knot forward.
- Pull on the other cord end to slide the knot in the opposite direction. This will tighten the bracelet.
- You may have to do this a couple of times. Continue to adjust them until you have a comfortable fit.
TIP: To remove the bracelet, gently pull it open to widen it. Then, slide your hand out.
