The Black Wood Peace Chaplet has wood beads. The European, nontoxic, designer-quality wood beads are stained and sealed for colour durability. It has prayers from a 100-year-old Croatian devotion. Pilgrims have returned from Medjugorje with these 22-bead Peace Chaplets. The image on the prayer card is from a statue in the nearby Franciscan Monastery.
About Medjugorje
The apparitions of our Blessed Mother (in Medjugorje) began in 1981. The Catholic Church has not approved them yet. Our Lady asked the visionaries to continue praying the Peace Chaplet prayers. It is a prayer for peace in the world, our families, and our hearts. Today, at the end of evening Mass in Medjugorje, they recite this prayer. Then, they pray the rosary.

Each chaplet comes with a sturdy prayer card. It explains which prayers to say on which beads.
Suggestion
It is a good idea to store your chaplets and prayer cards together. Since chaplets have unique bead groupings and prayers, the prayer card and chaplet need to stay together so that you can continue to use them.
