About Button Clasps

What They Look Like

Button clasps look something like a trailer hitch with a ball on one end and a donut on the other.

How It Works

To close it, gently push the ball through the hole.  To open it, flick it open with a fingernail.

Double-Strand White Pearl Bracelet, we have more rosary bracelets for sale and more new items for sale in the store.

How It Looks Closed

After you close it, if your clasp feels loose, then it’s not on properly.  The donut section is facing the wrong direction.  Open it, flip it around, and then re-attach it.

How to Measure for a Good Fit

How to Measure Your Wrist

Using a soft measuring tape, measure around your wrist at the wrist bone. Or, you can use a string or ribbon and then place it against a flat ruler for the size.  When you measure for the finished fit, leave a little wiggle room.

We measure our bracelets the same way. We provide an estimated wrist size for a comfortable fit.

What is a Comfortable Fit?

A bracelet should not be so tight that the beads leave indent marks on your skin. If it dangles too much, it could get caught on something and break.  It should be loose enough to feel like a comfortable fit.

Comparing to Your Favourite Bracelet

To find a comparable fit, hold your arm up with the bracelet on.  Measure your arm at that spot to get a fit with the precise wiggle room you like.
