More Details
We designed the Glow Knotted Paracord Rosary for those who love rosaries that are easy to carry. The smooth texture of the Paracord slides easily through the fingers during prayer. It combines two types of knots to make them feel different while praying. This handy rosary takes only a little room in a pocket. It is an ideal rosary for a walk or an unexpected opportunity to pray.
We found that the ability of specialty Paracord to glow is less pronounced than our luminous beads. After exposure to normal light, it only glows a little in the dark. It has an energetic glow after exposure to intense light like in our photo. Notably, it is easy to find in the dark after exposure to any light.
Paracord Rosaries have several advantages:
- Durable
- Will not tangle
- Weather-resistant
We heat-sealed the cut ends to prevent fraying. It looks like a darker, melted section.
The rosary length varies a little each time we make it.
About Paracord
Origins
Paracord has its name from its origins. It was a suspension cord for World War II parachutes before it was a craft cord. About a decade ago, a rosary designer in Texas came up with the idea to make Paracord rosaries. Now they are available worldwide.

Construction
Paracord starts with tightly twisted 3-ply nylon yarn. A braided nylon sheath or tube holds the straight inner strands of yarn together. Nylon has the highest strength and shock absorbency of any synthetic rope. It is weather resistant, feels smooth, resists fraying, and holds its knots well. We use quality American-made Paracord for our rosaries.
Safe to Wear?
Wearing these rosaries raises concern for us because they are extra sturdy. If your rosary gets caught on something, it could cause injury.
How It Compares to Other Cord
We use both Fishing Net twine and Paracord. Fishing Net twine is a 3-ply twisted nylon cord. Paracord has a braided nylon sheath that holds the 3-ply nylon cord strands together.

A beautifully photographed sky by Donald Tong inspired the website’s colour scheme. Cropped portions of it are the background for the footer Bible verse. He shared it as a free download on pexels.com.
Raphael painted The Sistine Madonna circa (1513-1514). We made circular cut-outs from the original image.
