About Hematite
Natural Hematite
Natural hematite is rare and very expensive. It contains ferric oxide, calcium, and manganese. It is not only on earth but on the planet Mars as well.
What We Use
Today’s hematite rosaries use a machine-made version of this stone. It looks and feels similar. It is also iron-grey, metallic-based, and heavy.
Warmth
The temperature of the beads will slowly warm up when in contact with warm hands. As you pray with them, you will feel their warmth.
