More Details

Our Holy Spirit Pocket Rosary is wire-wrapped with heavy-duty wire and chain. The wire wrapping keeps the beads securely in place and adds extra space between them. This extra room makes it easy to hold onto the beads during prayer.  We also connected it with bows to make it even stronger.

The hematite beads will pick up the warmth of your hands as you pray. Keep scrolling to learn more about today’s hematite beads.

TIP: Wire-wrapped rosaries will not come unhooked.  The design will sometimes result in a temporary kink.  There are two ways to resolve it: a gentle shake; or lifting and turning the section by hand.

Handmade Catholic items by Our Lady of Grace Rosaries are designed to be cherished and built to endure.

About Hematite

Natural Hematite

Natural hematite is rare and very expensive. It contains ferric oxide, calcium, and manganese. It is not only on earth but on the planet Mars as well.

What We Use

Today’s hematite rosaries use a machine-made version of this stone. It looks and feels similar. It is also iron-grey, metallic-based, and heavy.

Warmth

The temperature of the beads will slowly warm up when in contact with warm hands. As you pray with them, you will feel their warmth.

A beautifully photographed sky by Donald Tong inspired the website’s colour scheme. Cropped portions of it are the background for the footer Bible verse. He shared it as a free download on pexels.com.

Raphael painted The Sistine Madonna circa (1513-1514). We made circular cut-outs from the original image.
