Inspiration Collection: A Gallery of Ideas
Colour can captivate the imagination and stir the heart. It can make us want to hold a rosary and pray with it.
Designs are what make Catholic items both distinctive and durable. It can make beads comfortable for the way we pray, or give us a way to have a Crucifix even with limited wall space.
Artisan-quality items endure the daily mileage of prayer. Their longer lifespan frees the mind and heart to pray without the concern of beads coming loose. Any rosary benefits from the reliability of handmade quality. This is especially true with heavy beads like hematite, stainless steel, or gemstones. The durability of handmade wire or Paracord construction will best support their weight.
The initial attraction of a rosary will catch the eye and draw you in for a closer look. An exquisite rosary, for example, can have an appealing combination of beads and parts. When we have one we enjoy, it warms the heart as we hold it during prayer.
Catholic items should suit our lifestyle, where we pray with them, and our routines. One that works well with our prayer environment will benefit us most. For example, a knotted cord rosary is ideal for fishing trips, under a pillow, or in an MRI machine. A pretty rosary can bring us joy to pray with at Church. We can find inspiration to pray when we hang a Crucifix where we can glance at it often during the day.
A Catholic gift honouring a special occasion can give it even more lasting memories. For example, a popular gift for new deacons is a standing Crucifix for a desk. A rosary for the sacraments of First Communion or Confirmation is a meaningful gift idea.
Unique features can make a prayer item memorable. The most convenient rosary to use while on a walk can be a Paracord rosary, or a pocket-sized one. We can hold onto a comfort Cross while we pray, or when prayer is difficult. A glow-in-the-dark rosary is easier to find after turning off the lights. A handy size for a classroom is a wall rosary. You might prefer a rosary bracelet, one to hang on your car mirror, or a nickel-free one. We offer too many different prayer items to list them all here.
How Inspiration Helps When Choosing a Catholic Item
Handmade Crucifixes
Crucifixes and Crosses are sorted by type of wood, size, and design. If you like a design, you can also order one with a different wood type if it is available. Crucifixes are also available as a Cross (without Jesus). Since we do not alter the natural tones and grains of the wood, each one has unique differences. Click to shop for Crucifixes and Crosses.
Cord and Paracord Rosaries
A variety of Cord and Paracord Rosary designs are available. The beads of these rosaries are strung on a length of cord or Paracord. The Hail Mary beads slide along the cord during prayer, while the Our Father beads are stationary. Click to see our cord rosaries.
Classic-Linked Rosaries
Loops of either nickel silver or brass wire hold the beads in place. Wire and chain rosaries with looped links are the most well-known type of rosary construction. Click to see our rosaries with classic links. We have lots to choose from.
Wire-Wrapped Rosaries
Although fairly recent to rosary-making, wire-wrapping is a skill dating back to the ancient Egyptians. The wire is wrapped around the core strand that passes through the beads. Artisans describe wire-wrapped rosaries as heirloom quality or unbreakable. Click to see our wire-wrapped rosaries and make one part of your daily prayer routine.
Accessories
Drawstring velveteen pouches are free with most of our beaded items. You can also find handmade leather rosary cases, decade markers, prayer cards, and rosary dishes. Click to discover the many types of accessories we offer.
