The difference in Paracord sizes is most noticeable once it’s knotted. 550 Paracord makes a bulky knot with the same number of wraps as the thinner cords.

Are They Just for Men?

American-made Paracord is weather-resistant and has exceptional strength. You can take a Paracord Rosary on walks at a park or at a beach. However, if it has wood beads, it should not be immersed in water.
Paracord rosaries pull easily out of a pocket without becoming tangled. They are also larger than most rosaries, making them easier to find.
- Micro-Paracord is just over 1mm thick. It has a 50-pound strength.
- 95 Paracord is almost 2mm thick. It has a 95-pound strength.
- 550 Paracord is 4mm thick. It has a 550-pound strength. A rosary made with this cord is big.
Because Paracord Rosaries are so well-built, it raises a concern for us. If worn as a necklace, it could get caught on something and cause injury.
