More Details
Our Limited Edition Corona of Our Lady of Tears has wire-wrapped Czech glass beads. We have a limited supply of bronze medals, which are hand-cast with images specific to the devotion. Our prayer card has a picture of Our Lady of Tears as she appeared to Sister Amalia in Campinas, Brazil, on March 8, 1930. Msgr. Count Franciscus von Campos Barreto, Bishop of Campinas, approved the devotion. It has an Imprimatur (1935). It is also known as Chaplet of Our Lady of Tears and Rosary of Our Lady’s Tears.
On March 8, 1930, Sister Amalia had a vision. A Lady of unspeakable beauty held a rosary that she called a Corona (crown). The beads glowed like the sun and were as white as snow. Our Lady of Tears revealed to her that the prayers of this chaplet would be for conversions.
About Our Handmade Chaplets
Packaging
Each chaplet comes with a sturdy prayer card. It explains which prayers to say on which beads.
Suggestion
It is a good idea to store your chaplets and prayer cards together. Since chaplets have unique bead groupings and prayers, the prayer card and chaplet need to stay together so that you can continue to use them.
CREDITS
The LOGO image of Our Lady of Grace is original artwork by Martin Lariviere in 2009. We have the artist’s permission (my son). It is our exclusive trademark logo image.
A beautifully photographed sky by Donald Tong inspired the website’s colour scheme. Cropped portions of it are the background for the footer Bible verse. He shared it as a free download on pexels.com.
Raphael painted The Sistine Madonna circa (1513-1514). We made circular cut-outs from the original image.
