The Mahogany Name of Jesus Cross can hang on a wall as a gentle reminder to pray. Since His Name is in the shape of a Cross, we also remember He is our Saviour. We decided a hanger wasn’t necessary because a nail holds it in the space inside the top curve of the letter S.
The Feast of the Holy Name of Jesus is on January 3rd every year. When we honour His Name, we honour Him. Think of the words of St. Paul, “At the name of Jesus, every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Phil. 2: 10-11)
