Matthew 14:23 (Spending Time in Prayer)
Matthew 14:23
In Matthew 14:23, Jesus taught us to take time away from our busy lives to pray. What happens when we pray?
Spending Time in Prayer
After he had dismissed the crowds,
he went up into the hills by himself to pray.
Matthew 14:23
Jesus taught us to take time away from our busy lives to pray. Prayer is how we reach out to God and welcome Him into our hearts. To love to pray is to look forward to spending that time with Him. As we spend time with God, He expands our hearts so that we can have more room for Him there. Then, He can work through us with greater efficiency. (November 19, 2021)
