The Oval Mahogany St. Michael Chaplet has Euro Wood beads with a smooth finish. The European, nontoxic, designer-quality wood beads are stained and sealed for colour durability.
We hand-knotted it with fishing net twine.
History of the Chaplet
The chaplet originated with a Carmelite nun, Antonia d’Astonac (Servant of God). In the 18th Century, she received a vision of St. Michael the Archangel. He promised his protection and care from each of the choirs of angels. On August 8, 1851, Pope Pius IX granted it an indulgence.

Packaging
Each chaplet comes with a sturdy prayer card. It has the full text of the prayers and explains which prayers to say on which beads.
Suggestion
It is a good idea to store your chaplets and prayer cards together. Since chaplets have unique bead groupings and prayers, the prayer card and chaplet need to stay together so that you can continue to use them.
