More Details
The Paracord Rosary of the Holy Face has quality American-made Paracord with a 95-pound resistance strength. Paracord is durable, weather-resistant, and will not tangle. The stainless steel accent spacers add detail to its design. The European, nontoxic, designer-quality wood beads are stained and sealed for colour durability. The limited edition, lead-free medal is antiqued with clear detailing. The back has IHS with an image of the Eucharist with rays. On the back are the words: Mane Nobiscum Domine (or Stay with Us, Lord). These words are the title of an apostolic letter by St. John Paul II (2004).
About the Chaplet Prayers
When we pray the Paracord Chaplet of the Holy Face of Jesus, we honour His suffering and pray with sorrow for our sins. It has 33 grouped beads that represent His life on earth. Most of them represent His private life, and the group of 3 represents His public life. The 30 beads are in 5 groups for His senses of sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch. We honour the wounds He endured in His Holy Face. We pray the Glory Be seven times to remember His last words on the Cross. Sister Marie de Saint-Pierre composed the Little Chaplet of the Holy Face on November 15, 1843. It is also known as The Little Rosary of the Holy Face.
Devotion to the Holy Face
Devotion to the Holy Face of Jesus is one of the oldest Christian traditions. It began with two miraculous events. First, the image of Our Lord appeared on St. Veronica’s veil when she offered to Jesus while He carried His Cross. Secondly, His image also appeared on His burial cloth, known as The Shroud of Turin. Two popes approved this devotion: Pope Leo XIII (1895) and Pope Pius XII (1958).
About Our Handmade Chaplets
Packaging
Each chaplet comes with a sturdy prayer card. It has the full text of the prayers and explains which prayers to say on which beads.
Suggestion
It is a good idea to store your chaplets and prayer cards together. Since chaplets have unique bead groupings and prayers, the prayer card and chaplet need to stay together so that you can continue to use them.

A beautifully photographed sky by Donald Tong inspired the website’s colour scheme. Cropped portions of it are the background for the footer Bible verse. He shared it as a free download on pexels.com.
Raphael painted The Sistine Madonna circa (1513-1514). We made circular cut-outs from the original image.
