More Details
Our Paracord Glow in the Dark Rosary might seem ordinary in the light, but it glows in a darkened room. Imagine finally being able to find your rosary in the dark! *We can also make it with glow-in-the-dark Paracord.
Despite its ability to glow, the rosary is both non-toxic and non-radioactive. The chemical process that absorbs and stores light is phosphorescence. In a darkened room, it releases the light, giving it a dramatic glow. When it starts to fade, it needs to absorb more light. Once exposed to the light again, it will begin glowing once more.
How much it glows depends on the lights. We put it under extra good light and then turned it off for the first photo. The second photo is in natural daylight.
It has quality American-made Paracord with a 95-pound resistance strength. Its large size makes it ideal for a wall, prayer table, or nightstand.
Paracord Rosaries have several advantages:
- Durable
- Will not tangle
- Weather-resistant
About Paracord
Origins
Paracord has its name from its origins. It was a suspension cord for World War II parachutes before it was a craft cord. About a decade ago, a rosary designer in Texas came up with the idea to make Paracord rosaries. Now they are available worldwide.

Construction
Paracord starts with tightly twisted 3-ply nylon yarn. A braided nylon sheath or tube holds the straight inner strands of yarn together. Nylon has the highest strength and shock absorbency of any synthetic rope. It is weather resistant, feels smooth, resists fraying, and holds its knots well. We use quality American-made Paracord for our rosaries.
Safe to Wear?
Wearing these rosaries raises concern for us because they are extra sturdy. If your rosary gets caught on something, it could cause injury.
How It Compares to Other Cord
We use both Fishing Net twine and Paracord. Fishing Net twine is a 3-ply twisted nylon cord. Paracord has a braided nylon sheath that holds the 3-ply nylon cord strands together.

The LOGO image of Our Lady of Grace is original artwork by Martin Lariviere in 2009. We have the artist’s permission (my son). It is our exclusive trademark logo image.
A beautifully photographed sky by Donald Tong inspired the website’s colour scheme. Cropped portions of it are the background for the footer Bible verse. He shared it as a free download on pexels.com.
Raphael painted The Sistine Madonna circa (1513-1514). We made circular cut-outs from the original image.
