More Details
The Pink Brigittine Rosary has fire-polished Czech glass beads. St. Bridget of Sweden designed it as a six-decade rosary with 3 mysteries. There is an extra mystery for each of them. Joyful Mysteries has the Immaculate Conception. Sorrowful Mysteries include Jesus in His Mother’s arms (the Pieta). Glorious Mysteries adds the Patronage of Mary.
The Idea Behind the Design
It honours the Blessed Virgin Mary, whose 63 years of earthly life are the same as the number of Hail Mary beads. The Our Father beads represent her 7 sorrows and 7 joys. St Bridget described the first Our Father bead and 3 Hail Mary beads to be like entering a church. It is a time to collect our thoughts and prepare ourselves to pray.
How Widely Used is the Devotion?
It is part of the Carmelite habit. The devotion was richly indulgenced by Pope Leo X in 1516, Pope Clement XI in 1714, and Pope Benedict XIV in 1743.

About Our Handmade Chaplets
Packaging
Each chaplet comes with a sturdy prayer card. It has the full text of the prayers and explains which prayers to say on which beads.
Suggestion
It is a good idea to store your chaplets and prayer cards together. Since chaplets have unique bead groupings and prayers, the prayer card and chaplet need to stay together so that you can continue to use them.
