Our Sacred Heart & Hematite Rosary is ideal for someone who loves to pray but doesn’t want the rosary to take up a lot of pocket space. The oval beads make it easy to notice the Our Father prayers, even with closed eyes. Wire wrapping creates a strong connection so that the links will not come unhooked. One of the unexpected advantages is that it leaves more space between the beads. Even a rosary with smaller beads is easier to pray with.
What is Hematite?
Today’s hematite rosaries use a machine-made version of the stone. It looks and feels similar. It is also iron-grey, metallic-based, and heavy. These heavy, metallic-based beads will slowly warm up when in contact with warm hands. As you pray with them, you will feel their warmth.
Tip
TIP: Wire-wrapped rosaries will not come unhooked. The design will sometimes result in a temporary kink. There are two ways to resolve it: a gentle shake; or lifting and turning the section by hand.
