Are "Austrian Crystals" the Same as Swarovski Crystals?
Until 2021, we purchased Swarovski Crystals from the famous Austrian company that used to sell to artisans. Even though we have to sell them under a different name (“Austrian Crystals”), they are still the same genuine original beads as always.

There are many benefits to having a handmade Single Decade Rosary. It has the same quality as a complete rosary, yet it is a fraction of the price. The Swarovski crystals catch and reflect the light. The Crucifix, center, and every piece of wire and chain are .925 sterling silver. It is wire-wrapped so that it will not come unhooked. Also, with this type of construction, the beads have enough space between them for prayer. A pocket rosary is ideal for busy days when there only seems to be time for a short prayer. It is also great for praying a single decade of the rosary slowly while deep in prayer.
The crystal/sterling silver one-decade chaplet is beyond belief! I could not possibly be more pleased. I would be remiss not to mention the packaging. Again, way above expectations! – RC

What Makes Them Sparkle?
Swarovski Crystals glisten and catch the eye in the stores as we walk past them. Although their lighting helps, it takes very little light can make these beads throw off flashes of light.
The End of an Era
In 2021, they announced a major plan to restructure their company. Selling their beads to crafters have become a thing of the past. They no longer want their brand associated with anything less than the best quality.
Will There Be More of These Rosaries?
You can still look forward to more of our rosaries made with these beads. They will be available for as long as our supplies last. However, we will now be selling them under the name “Austrian Crystal” rosaries.
