Tip for Sliding Knot Bracelets

Comfortable Fit

Our sliding knot rosary bracelets adjust for a comfortable fit.   You can make your bracelet larger or smaller by tugging on the ends.

Put It On

  • First, widen your bracelet and slide it over your hand.  This will shorten the cord ends.
  • The cord ends are the strands with knots or beads at the ends.

Method 1: for long cord ends

  • Pull on one of the cord ends as far as it goes.
  • Hold it in the palm of your hand with your fingers as shown in the photo.
  • Pull on the other cord end to slide the knot in the opposite direction.

Method 2

  • Pull on one of the cord ends as you slide the knot forward.
  • Pull on the other cord end to slide the knot in the opposite direction.  This will tighten the bracelet.
  • You may have to do this a couple of times. Continue to adjust them until you have a comfortable fit.
Tag with the word "tip" on it.

TIP: To remove the bracelet, gently pull it open to widen it.  Then, slide your hand out.

How to Measure for a Good Fit

How to Measure Your Wrist

Using a soft measuring tape, measure around your wrist at the wrist bone. Another way is to measure with a string or ribbon and then place it against a flat ruler.  When you measure for the finished fit, leave a little wiggle room.

We measure our bracelets the same way. We provide an estimated wrist size for a comfortable fit.

What is a Comfortable Fit?

A bracelet should not be so tight that the beads leave indent marks on your skin. It can catch on something and break if it dangles too much.  It should be loose enough to feel like a comfortable fit.

Comparing to Your Favourite Bracelet

Hold your arm up with your best-fitting bracelet on to find a comparable fit.  Measure your arm at that spot to get a fit with the precise wiggle room you like.
