More Details
The St. Jude Chaplet has wire-wrapped Czech glass beads for durability. Green, za symbol of hope and renewal, is a popular choice for St. Jude rosaries and chaplets.
St. Jude Thaddeus was one of the twelve Apostles. Biblical scholars agree that his mother was the cousin of the Virgin Mary. His New Testament letter stresses that we should persevere in difficult situations. As a result, he was the patron saint of lost causes. The chaplet is a prayer for his help in any difficulty. We can pray the chaplet on the nine days leading up to his feast day (October 28) or anytime.
History of the 9-Bead Chaplet Design
According to The Raccolta (A Manual of Indulgences), the 9-bead chaplet is from at least the late 18th Century. They have 3 groups of 3 beads with a saint medal or Crucifix in a closed loop or stretched out in a strand. At first, convents and monasteries made rosaries and these chaplets. Over the centuries, they have become more readily available.
The Prayers
On the medal or Crucifix, we ask for the intercession of a particular saint. Then, we pray one Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be on each group of beads. There is a partial indulgence when we say the sets of prayers this way.

About Our Handmade Chaplets
Packaging
Each chaplet comes with a sturdy prayer card. It has the full text of the prayers and explains which prayers to say on which beads.
Suggestion
It is a good idea to store your chaplets and prayer cards together. Since chaplets have unique bead groupings and prayers, the prayer card and chaplet need to stay together so that you can continue to use them.
