Tough & Shiny
Stainless steel is an iron-based alloy. It has several elements like chromium, nickel, and titanium. They combine to create a tough metal that resists tarnishing, even in humid climates. It will not rust or turn your skin green.
Reliable
We love these beads because they are sturdy and long-lasting. They are durable and scratch-resistant. The weight and lasting shine of stainless steel beads give a nice feel to a rosary. A rosary made with these beads is one that you can rely on for years of prayer.
Rosary Construction
Although we love the beads, we do not use stainless steel wire. It is a rigid material to work with to create the delicate loops needed to make a rosary. We prefer our nickel silver wire.
Nickel Beads
Nickel Silver beads contain copper, nickel, and zinc. It is sometimes also used as a plating because it resists corrosion. It is also a component in the stainless steel alloy. Nickel is the most common metal to cause an allergy. It is not an element in our Sterling Silver or metal-free rosaries.
