More Details

The Tears of Blood Chaplet has different bead groupings from a regular rosary. It has seven groups of beads for each of her sorrows.

There have been many reports of weeping statues and images of our Blessed Mother. The Catholic Church, to date, has confirmed two of these instances. The first was a plaster image on a plaque in a home in Sicily, Italy (1953). Antonina was experiencing pregnancy complications. Once she saw the tears, she experienced complete healing.  The second was in Akita, Japan. In 1973, the wooden statue in the convent at Akita, Japan, wept 101 times. TV Tokyo Channel 12 broadcast the event. Investigators identified the samples of blood, sweat, and tears as human.  There are also several unconfirmed cases of weeping statues in Latin America and Europe.

The tears are a reminder to turn to our Lady of Sorrows. She supports us with her love and intercessory prayers.

Handmade Catholic items by Our Lady of Grace Rosaries are designed to be cherished and built to endure.

About Our Handmade Chaplets

Packaging

Each chaplet comes with a sturdy prayer card.  It explains which prayers to say on which beads.

Suggestion

It is a good idea to store your chaplets and prayer cards together.  Since chaplets have unique bead groupings and prayers, the prayer card and chaplet need to stay together so that you can continue to use them.
