5 Tips to Introduce Your Child to Rosary Prayers
1
Prayer Intentions
Begin with prayer intentions. They can mention things they are thankful for, sorry for, or their concerns. They might feel more comfortable saying them in their hearts or sharing them out loud.
2
Praying with the Beads
You can begin by teaching them one prayer. If they already know some of the prayers, they can start with the small group of beads at the beginning of the rosary. They can hold the part of the rosary that goes with each prayer. By starting small, they will feel like they can do it.
3
Setting Up a Routine
Choose a time to make it a routine but be flexible. What matters is looking forward to praying.
4
Leading the Prayers
They can have a turn leading the prayers. The leader says the first half of each prayer, and the other person says the second half.
5
Learning About the Mysteries
A great way to introduce the Mysteries is with Bible stories and pictures.
