Praying with our Touch of Summer Rosary is like praying in a garden. Flowers are part of the structure of each bead. They are not just surface images. A side view of the beads shows that the lines of the petals go all the way through. For centuries, glassmakers have made these Millefiori beads. The term for these beads is from two Italian words meaning Beads with a Thousand Flowers. Although artisans made these types of beads in other countries, they became best known in Murano, Italy.
Because of the weight of these beads, we decided to wire-wrap them. The Our Father beads have more wraps than the other beads. The center medal is an image of Our Blessed Mother praying, surrounded by flowers. The inspiration for this rosary was with the help of a 6-year-old designer, E.G.
TIP: Wire-wrapped rosaries will not come unhooked. The design will sometimes result in a temporary kink. There are two ways to resolve it: a gentle shake; or lifting and turning the section by hand.
