We fly to thy protection, O Holy Mother of God.
Do not despise our petitions in our necessities,
but deliver us always from all dangers,
O Glorious and Blessed Virgin.

About the Prayer
It is the Oldest Known Marian Prayer
The ancient prayer dates back to 250 A.D. The Latin title is Sub Tuum Praesidium. It was first prayed during a time of Christian persecution. It is a way to ask our Blessed Mother for perseverance when faced with difficulties.
