Quality Can’t be Rushed
Quality Can't Be Rushed
We believe that quality can’t be rushed. We create our handmade rosaries in the tradition of Christian artisan design with hand-held tools and lengths of wire and chain.
About our Handmade Rosaries: Quality Takes Time
Quality takes time. Each classic-linked rosary takes 5 to 6 hours to complete.
Designing
The first step is all about inspiration. We create designs based on theme, colour, size, and shape.
Looping
Then, we attach the beads by looping the wire. We check for bead flaws as we create links to hold them in place. We discard glass beads, for example, with bubbles near the surface. Bubbles indicate a weak spot that will eventually chip.
Inspecting
Next, we inspect each link for size, shape, and nicks. We tighten and redo them as needed. The shape of the loops is important. Rounded loops will help support the movement of the rosary during prayer.
Our Father Beads
Our favourite part is attaching the Our Father beads. We like to wire-wrap them to make them feel distinct from the Hail Mary beads.
Connections
We connect the rosary with sturdy jump rings (as in the photo) or wrapped bows.
Symmetry
Then, we check for symmetry. We cut and redo bead links until the sections line up. This step can take from 5 minutes to over an hour.
Photos
The last step is new to the art of rosary-making. We pose and photograph the finished rosary.
CREDITS
The LOGO image of Our Lady of Grace is original artwork by Martin Lariviere in 2009. We have the artist’s permission (my son). It is our exclusive trademark logo image.
A beautifully photographed sky by Donald Tong inspired the website’s colour scheme. Cropped portions of it are the background for the footer Bible verse. He shared it as a free download on pexels.com.
Raphael painted The Sistine Madonna circa (1513-1514). We made circular cut-outs from the original image.

IN REVIEW
We start with a roll of wire to make our rosaries. Each one takes 5 to 6 hours to complete. (Rosaries made with eye pins take less time).
We loop the wire and inspect each link for size, shape, and nicks. Finally, we check for symmetry.
