More Details
The Saint Veronica Chaplet has a prayer for her intercession written by Pope Pius IX. The Holy Face medal is heavy and with clear details. We can pray it as a novena on the days before her feast on July 12 or anytime.
St. Veronica was one of the women who accompanied Jesus on the way to the Crucifixion. She noticed that His face was dripping with sweat and blood and felt moved with compassion. She offered Him her veil to wipe His face, and He left an image of His Face on it. We remember this event at the Sixth Station of the Cross. The Vatican stores it in a frame. They usually display it o the 5th Sunday of Lent.
History of the 9-Bead Chaplet
According to The Raccolta: A Manual of Indulgences, the 9-bead chaplet is at least 500 years old. They were likely in use before the late 18th Century. They have 3 groups of 3 beads with a saint medal or Crucifix in a closed loop or stretched out in a strand. At first, only convents and monasteries made them. Over the centuries, they have become more readily available.
The Prayers
On the medal or Crucifix, we ask for the intercession of a particular saint. Then, we pray one Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be on each group of beads. There is a partial indulgence when we say the sets of prayers this way.

About Our Handmade Chaplets
Packaging
Each chaplet comes with a sturdy prayer card. It has the full text of the prayers and explains which prayers to say on which beads.
Suggestion
It is a good idea to store your chaplets and prayer cards together. Since chaplets have unique bead groupings and prayers, the prayer card and chaplet need to stay together so that you can continue to use them.
