Prayers

We have collected some general Catholic prayers here. For example, we included two versions of the Act of Contrition.

The Angelus is a short devotion in honour of the Incarnation. Words to the prayer and an introduction to the devotion are found here.

The Prayer to Jesus Crucified (Prayer Before a Crucifix) has a plenary indulgence when prayed on Fridays during Lent (Pope Pius XI, 1934).

The Hail, Holy Queen (or “Salve Regina” in the original Latin) is a prayer said at the end of a rosary and in the Divine Office.
