TIP: Brass wire rosaries will keep their original luster when they stay dry. Try storing it with a piece of chalk (non-toxic) or a silica gel pack. You can also store it with an eyeglass cleaning cloth to dry it if needed.

About Gold-Tone Components

Metal Content

We use brass wire for our gold-tone rosaries.  Brass is a metal alloy composed of copper and zinc. Although it is a gold colour, it does not contain gold.

We complement our brass wire with plated brass chain and jump rings.

Metal Casting

Metal casting is an ancient process that began as early as 3200 B.C. They poured molten metal into a mold. Once hardened, artisans removed the mold. Then they cleaned the object of excess material and smoothed out any rough edges. Today, it is the same basic procedure.

Made in Italy

Most of the gold-tone parts we use are die-cast and plated in Italy. Italy has specialized in making rosary components longer than any other country. Crucifixes and center medals usually have the word Italy in raised letters on the back.

Care & Cleaning

You can keep a small cloth (like the ones for cleaning eyeglasses) in the pouch with your rosary.  That way, you can give it a quick buff from time to time.  Or try storing it with a silica gel pack, chalk, or anti-tarnish paper.

To keep it dry, you can store it in a pouch with anti-tarnish paper, or a piece of chalk.  A silica gel packet (like the ones that come with new shoes or purses) will also work but they are poisonous.

The LOGO image of Our Lady of Grace is original artwork by Martin Lariviere in 2009. We have the artist’s permission (my son). It is our exclusive trademark logo image.

A beautifully photographed sky by Donald Tong inspired the website’s colour scheme. Cropped portions of it are the background for the footer Bible verse. He shared it as a free download on pexels.com.

Raphael painted The Sistine Madonna circa (1513-1514). We made circular cut-outs from the original image.
