More Details

The Saint Dominic Savio Chaplet has white beads that represent the Holy Trinity. Blue is for his young life. Pope Pius XII canonized him on June 12, 1954,  for displaying heroic virtue in his everyday life. We can pray the chaplet as a novena on the days leading up to his feast on March 9. It also has a prayer for missing children. Among other things, he is the patron saint of troubled youths.

About St. Dominic Savio

St. Dominic Savio was a student of St. John Bosco. St. John Bosco noticed Dominic’s efforts to live a holy life. He started to record events because they were so remarkable. He later wrote a biography with his notes (The Life of Dominic Savio). St. Dominic would stay longer in the church to pray and visit the Blessed Sacrament often during the day. He started a group (The Sodality of Mary Immaculate). They would honour Mary and bring others to honour her. They would also receive frequent Communion. Their purpose was to obtain the special protection of Mary during life and at the time of death.

He said, “I can’t do big things, but I want everything to be for the glory of God.”

Handmade Catholic items by Our Lady of Grace Rosaries are designed to be cherished and built to endure.

About Our Handmade Chaplets

Packaging

Each chaplet comes with a sturdy prayer card.  It explains which prayers to say on which beads.

Suggestion

It is a good idea to store your chaplets and prayer cards together.  Since chaplets have unique bead groupings and prayers, the prayer card and chaplet need to stay together so that you can continue to use them.
